Alliance for Workforce Development, Inc. / America’s Job Center of California- Prequalification Intake Form- **COVID-19 Update: AFWD remains closed to the public. Staff will be available to assist businesses and workers with unemployment, recruitment, resume and any other services via social media, phone, email or at www.afwd.org** Offering an intake form for Camp Fire survivors to access AFWD’s resources to help find employment. The intake form provides AFWD with background information on an individual’s case so they may direct them to resources and assistance effectively. Once the completed intake form is submitted, an AFWD representative will acknowledge receiving the form and a case manager will be in contact within 1 week. Services and resources may include gas cards for job search or employment/training, job and career training assistance, career counseling and work placement, and assistance filing for unemployment on a case-by-case basis. The intake form is intended for Camp Fire Survivors experiencing unemployment or underemployment due to the Camp Fire.  How to submit an intake form:

Valley Contractors Exchange – **COVID-19 Update- Regular office hours have resumed, 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. In observance of safety protocols related to COVID-19, VCE will not be scheduling any in-person training until further notice.  VCE is working to provide access to online training for safety needs.  If you are in need of a particular class, please let VCE know** Offers information and resources for contractors, including building code, labor law, and networking resources. Work for Warriors – Offering job placement assistance to individuals impacted by the Camp Fire. The organization typically is only open to Veterans, but currently services are open to all impacted that are seeking employment. To access services, call 916-854-4426 or email apply@workforwarriors.org

RUSH Personnel Services- Offering job placement assistance for temporary, temp-to-hire or direct hire/full-time positions. Those in need of job placement assistance will need  to fill out an application and have a personal interview with a RUSH staffing specialist. Computers for Classrooms– **COVID-19 Update- CFC will temporarily stop repair services and starting August 3rd, will have limited volunteering services. Phone pickup orders and donations remain operational** Offering refurbished computers to families with low-income, seniors, veterans, students on financial-aid, schools, non-profits, and those impacted by the Camp Fire that meet income qualifications. Most computers are loaded with Windows 10 Microsoft operating systems and office suites. All computer systems are guaranteed for a full year – hardware and software – except for laptops which are guaranteed 90 days for hardware and a year for software. Craft Emergency Relief Fund- The Craft Emergency Relief Fund, provides $3,000 grant and other assistance to artists working in craft disciplines who are facing a career threatening emergency.
